Sagelux, the emergency lighting brand of Luxiona Group, has been part of an important logistics project in the Aragonese pre-Pyrenees with two of its most efficient and powerful emergency luminaires of the moment.
The port of Monrepós, located on the A-23 Somport-Sagunto dual carriageway, is part of a very complex mountainous environment and is one of the busiest in the area. For this reason, and in order to avoid kilometres for drivers, two sections of the dual carriageway have been built, including the construction of two tunnels. The most innovative Sagelux safety lighting equipment on the market was chosen for its logistics.
Specifically, for the construction of Caldearenas, the second longest tunnel in Aragon with 2,997m in length, built by Acciona and installed by Cobra, the Sagelux RD-8006 luminaire was used to provide a perfect light distribution avoiding glare. It also incorporates the SESAM control system, which makes it possible to report on the status of the tunnel’s emergency lighting system. Likewise, adjusting to the characteristics of the second tunnel, the PF waterproof luminaire from Sagelux was chosen, which has a system that can be remotely controlled from the tunnel control centre.
Sagelux consolidates its position as a benchmark in the emergency lighting market at a national level, signing another renowned project such as the work on the Monrepós tunnels.
